1. Use personal data only when necessary

Only access or use personal information that you genuinely need to perform your ATutor Global duties. Do not collect additional learner or parent information for personal use, private teaching, marketing or unrelated purposes.

2. Keep information confidential

Treat learner names, contact details, dates of birth, parent or guardian details, lesson records, progress reports, recordings, screenshots, account information and other personal data as confidential.

3. Use approved systems

Use ATutor Global's authorised platform, communication channels and approved procedures when handling learner information. Do not transfer personal data to personal email accounts, private messaging services, personal cloud storage or unauthorised applications.

4. Keep accounts and devices secure

Protect passwords and login credentials. Do not share accounts. Lock your screen when unattended, keep devices appropriately secured and updated, and take reasonable steps to prevent other people from viewing confidential learner information.

5. Do not copy or share without authorisation

Do not download, photograph, screenshot, copy, print, publish, forward or disclose personal information unless this is necessary for an authorised ATutor Global purpose and permitted by the relevant procedure.

6. Protect children's information

Children's personal information requires particular care. Do not ask a child for unnecessary personal details or encourage them to share private contact information. Follow ATutor Global safeguarding procedures whenever information raises a concern about a child's safety or welfare.

7. Keep information accurate

Where your role requires you to enter or update learner information, record it accurately and objectively. Do not knowingly create misleading records or alter official information without authorisation.

8. Do not keep data longer than necessary

Do not retain personal information on personal devices, in handwritten notes or elsewhere after it is no longer required for the authorised task. Follow ATutor Global procedures for secure deletion, disposal and record retention.

9. Report data incidents immediately

Immediately report suspected loss, accidental disclosure, unauthorised access, phishing, compromised login details, misdirected messages, exposed screenshots or any other suspected personal-data breach through the designated ATutor Global privacy or security channel. Do not attempt to conceal the incident.

10. Tutor declaration and acknowledgement

I confirm that I have read and understood the ATutor Global Data Protection & Confidentiality Policy. I agree to protect personal information, use it only for authorised purposes, follow ATutor Global procedures, and report any suspected loss, misuse or unauthorised disclosure immediately.
