Lesson Recording Policy

1. Purpose of lesson recording

Where permitted by applicable requirements and ATutor Global procedures, lesson recordings may be used for safeguarding, quality assurance, complaint or incident investigation, tutor coaching and training, service improvement, and compliance purposes.

2. Professional conduct

Tutors must conduct every recorded lesson to the same professional standard expected in any ATutor Global class. Appropriate dress, language, behaviour, teaching environment and learner interaction are required throughout the session.

3. Confidentiality

Lesson recordings and any information visible or audible within them are confidential. Tutors must not copy, download, publish, distribute, display, transmit or share lesson recordings, screenshots or extracts unless expressly authorised by ATutor Global.

4. Personal recording is not permitted

Tutors must not independently record lessons using a mobile phone, screen-recording software, external camera, audio recorder or any other personal device or application unless ATutor Global has provided explicit written authorisation.

5. Access and use

Access to recordings should be limited to authorised persons and handled in accordance with ATutor Global's applicable privacy, safeguarding and data-handling procedures. Tutors must not attempt to obtain or access recordings outside authorised processes.

6. Tutor responsibilities

1. Follow all ATutor Global safeguarding, privacy, confidentiality and professional-conduct requirements.
2. Ensure the teaching environment does not expose unnecessary private or confidential information.
3. Report any suspected unauthorised access, recording, copying, disclosure or sharing through the appropriate ATutor Global channel.
4. Cooperate with authorised reviews of lesson recordings where required for safeguarding, quality assurance, complaints or compliance.

7. Tutor declaration and acknowledgement

I confirm that I have read and understood the ATutor Global Lesson Recording Policy. I understand that lessons delivered through the ATutor Global platform may be recorded in accordance with the company's applicable privacy notices, procedures and legal requirements. I agree to comply with all confidentiality, safeguarding, data-protection and professional standards relating to lesson recordings. I understand that I must not independently record, copy, share, publish or distribute lesson recordings or extracts unless expressly authorised by ATutor Global.
