Payment Confidentiality & Private Arrangements

1. Keep payment rates confidential

Your tutor payment arrangements are professional and confidential. Do not discuss your individual ATutor payment rate with learners, parents, or students in learner-facing areas of the platform. Learners may pay a price that differs from the amount paid to the tutor because the learner price may incorporate platform services, operational costs, payment processing, support, technology, and other business considerations. Questions from learners about pricing, charges, refunds, or payments should be directed to the appropriate ATutor support service.

2. Never use learner information to negotiate privately

Information obtained through ATutor must not be used to establish unauthorised private teaching or payment arrangements with learners. Tutors must not use a learner's:

1. Telephone number
2. Email address
3. Social media account
4. Parent or guardian details
5. Employer information
6. Other contact information

Off-platform arrangements

Do not approach learners privately to arrange lessons outside ATutor. Tutors must not encourage learners to leave the platform to obtain a different lesson price or private teaching arrangement.
