Professional Standards

At ATutor Global, every teacher is expected to demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and respect throughout every lesson. Your appearance, preparation, and classroom conduct should inspire confidence and create a positive learning environment for every student.

1. Be professional

Your behaviour should reflect the professional nature of a certified ESL teacher. Students look up to you and expect consistently high standards.

2. Professional appearance

  1. Wear a smart collared shirt or ATutor Global polo shirt.
  2. Ensure clothing is clean, neat, and appropriate for teaching.
  3. Cover visible tattoos whenever possible.
  4. Remove visible facial or body piercings, with the exception of standard earrings.
  5. Keep hair clean and well-groomed.
  6. Facial hair should be neatly trimmed or clean shaven.
  7. If worn, make-up should be natural and professional.
